A family business, not a franchise
Camp Cosy began in 2024, after a friend saw some children’s teepees and said “hey, you can make that!” After making one for our daughter, and seeing her delight, the idea blossomed.
From there we started surprising and delighting her and her friends with cosy, enchanting miniature teepees at their sleepovers. After many measurements and missed cuts, we had our final design.
Ed builds all the wooden frames, and I sew the teepee covers.
Camp Cosy is a registered business name, not a company. Behind it is one family in The Gap, trading under ABN 16 783 863 217. The teepees are handmade, the emails come back from the family that owns it, and there is no head office to be passed along to.

Name tags are made by hand for every camper to welcome them to camp. Ownership gives them a sense of belonging, and stops those little arguments.
The camp, and everything in it
Every teepee hire includes the same four things, whichever package you book. The rest is yours to choose, and every package comes with add-ons included before you pay for a single extra.
Handmade A-frame teepees
Forest-print canvas on pine frames, built and styled in the room you choose.
Mattresses and warm bedding
A proper bed in every tent, made up before we leave.
Woodland fairy lights
Strung through the camp, which is the bit that makes the room stop looking like a room.
A wooden name tag each
One per camper, with their name on it. They take it home.

Both visits — setting up and packing down — are included in every hire. Nothing about the day is yours to organise.

We arrive on the day, build the camp and style it. Setup is in the price.

The night is theirs — we’re not there overnight, so an adult stays home and in charge. We come back the next morning and take it all away.
We wash everything between bookings. Every sheet, every cover, every cushion.
No bond, and no damage fee added to every booking. Marks that come out in a wash are ours to deal with, not yours to pay for.

Kids party teepee hire across Brisbane’s north-west, inner west and the CBD, out of The Gap 4061. Delivery and pack-down are included within 7km; 10km is the limit, because the next morning always belongs to somebody else’s pack-down.
